This month, we’re celebrating Francesca Luna Anderson💜⚖️

Francesca would like shar what being part of the Lincoln community means to her: “From the moment I started at Lincoln, I knew I wanted to contribute to its already strong sense of community. Law school is challenging, and having people you know you can turn to makes such a difference. I am beyond grateful to have found people I can lean on so early in my 1L journey. I am honored to be named WJS’s Woman of the Month, and I truly hope this recognition means that my classmates see me as someone they can reach out to and feel supported by throughout their journeys as well.”

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, WJS is recognizing Senator Susan Rubio, a survivor of domestic violence who has dedicated much of her public work to advocating for survivors and strengthening protections within the legal system.

Her work has included legislation addressing coercive control and expanding options for survivors seeking protection through the courts.

Survival can be the beginning of something bigger. 💜
