Excited to share that yesterday was the 7th anniversary of Feenstra Law, PLLC.

At first, I smiled to myself and shrugged and didn't think it necessary to celebrate, but I was curious to see how many clients I have worked with over the last 7 years.

I was surprised and proud to count that I've worked with over 100 individuals and companies! The files were small and large, in some cases a quick consult and in others helping a new business settle into their lease, sign a big contract, form their new entity, or close the deal. No matter, it has been wonderful to get to know so many business owners over the years and to play even a small part in how they moved forward.

Thanks to everyone, clients, friends and family, that have helped my firm grow! Natascha Feenstra

This post from two years ago is even more applicable now. My office will be closed from December 19th - January 3rd. Happy holidays everyone! With Natascha Feenstra

Thursday Tip: Give yourself a break! Small business owners often are “on” all the time. No one pays you to take a vacation and you tend to answer emails/phone calls/do work at all hours of the day, while juggling home, kids, and other interests.

I get it. I’m right there with you!

But it important to schedule time off for yourself. Not only will you physically and mentally recharge, by taking time away from work and being present with your family and in your community, you’ll have a chance to look at your business through different eyes. You’ll be inspired and encouraged in new and different ways. You’ll approach your business with new energy upon your return.

I’m taking my own advice this year and closing my office December 19th through and including January 3rd. Happy Holidays and Cheers to a New Year!

There’s a lot of information out there about the stimulus package, and to a good extent it’s still being figured out. However, this might be a useful webinar for some of my small business clients. I’ll try to share other recourses soon. Be well!

In a world of fast-shifting business priorities and unpredictable change, marketers need a new way to think about event strategies. When unexpected challenges arise, agile event programs are designed not just to survive — but to thrive.

Proud to have been a sponsor of the Rye Middle and High School fundraiser held last evening. Amazing how many local businesses - big and small - sponsor these community events. Don’t forget to support them back.

The parent organizers and volunteers, and the two parent bands, all did a fabulous job - kudos to you all! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

No Thursday Tip this week but recently I was cleaning out some files and ran across the issue of The New York Law Journal announcing I’d passed the NY Bar. Just had to post a pic. Can’t believe how time flies!
