Vega Law Office is excited to welcome Maëva Hassani as an Associate Attorney!

Maëva was sworn in earlier today by Chief District Court Judge Robert Martelle in Rutherford County District Court.

Maëva was raised in Rutherford County from the age of 12 and is a proud graduate of Chase High School (2018). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish from Western Carolina University in 2021. She received her Juris Doctor, summa cm laude, from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2025, graduating in the top 10% of her class.

While in law school, Maëva served as Law Review Symposium Editor and Class Vice President. She was also a member of the Client Counseling team, where her dedication and skill were recognized when she and her teammate won the American Bar Association’s National Client Counseling Competition, advancing to the international semi-final round in Scotland.

Over the years, Maëva has gained valuable practical legal experience through internships and clinic work, handling cases involving criminal defense, property, family, and local government law. Additionally, she has worked for the past two years as a courtroom liaison specializing in jury selection for personal injury trials.
