Be sure folks in your life who might be vulnerable to sob stories and/or high pressure tactics are aware of how to avoid scams. They tend to be the top targets.

Meet Carrie

Carrie was born in Rushville and raised on a small farm near Gings in Union Township. She was a 10-year member of 4-H, taking such projects as beef, swine, baking, sewing, and photography. She attended Mays Elementary, Rushville Junior High School, and Rushville Consolidated High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Purdue University and law school at Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis.

Since passing the Indiana bar exam in 1996, Carrie has worked in a variety of legal and compliance positions and completed multiple continuing education courses that have provided her with a wide-ranging knowledge of various legal areas and systems. These areas and systems include estate planning, adoption, divorce, child support, small claims, education law, administrative law, the Indiana legislative process, real estate law, and corporate compliance. Carrie is also a registered mediator in Indiana for all civil issues not related to divorce.

Carrie's focus is on the areas of law that will most likely affect residents of Rush County and surrounding areas.
