Clarkson & Gulde, P.C. is very pleased to announce that Abigail E. Gulde has joined the law firm as an associate attorney. She graduated from RCHS in 2014 and from Indiana University - Bloomington in 2018 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Theatre and Drama. She graduated from the Indiana University School of Law in 2021 and was admitted to the Indiana Bar on October 1, 2021. Her legal career began as an attorney with the Defur Voran law firm in its Muncie and New Castle offices. She has spent the last 2 1/2 years in California working as a law clerk for various judges in the Los Angeles County Superior Court system. Her areas of practice will include criminal law, family law, probate law, personal injury law and general civil litigation. Her parents are Robert and Melia Gulde.

We are very saddened to report that C. Jack Clarkson has died at the age of 94. Jack was a remarkably skilled lawyer and an incredible mentor. He will be greatly missed.

We are so pleased to report that Clarkson & Gulde, P.C. will resume business operations at 127 W. 2nd Street, Rushville, Indiana, at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. There are so many people to thank, and hopefully we will not miss anyone including Scott Barnes and all of his employees and subcontractors, Heather Meckes and Bill Herdrich and the staff of H.P.C., Randy Herbert and Chris Plough, Thomas Barnes, NineStar Communications, and of course all of our clients who remained with us during a challenging year.
Please stop in to see our newly designed office. Our office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM M- F. We will be closed from 12/22 to 12/26 to celebrate Christmas with our families. Happy Holidays to all of you!

We are so pleased to report that Clarkson & Gulde will be reopening at our new location tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. We have had incredible help from so many people in addition to those persons we have already thanked. We also wish to thank: Paul Barada Jr. and his staff; Ashley and Terry Stiers; Scott Barnes and his crew; Brian Sheehan; Lori McGowan and Beacon Ag Group; the Class of 1984 for helping secure file cabinets; and all of the other people who have offered their help, assistance or office space to use. We are overwhelmed with gratitude to all of you.

We will be temporarily relocating to the River Point Office Suites located at 210 E. US Hwy 52, Suite B, Rushville, Indiana. (The Herdrich building). Our phone number and email addresses will remain the same. We want to thank Heather Meckes and Bill Herdrich for their extraordinary kindness in accomodating our relocation! Our phone number of 765-932-2227 should be operational on December 21, 2022. (Thank you NineStar and Ron Jarman!) More people to thank forthcoming!

After a thorough search of our office, all client files and legal documents are safe and secure and have not been damaged.

Clarkson & Gulde, P.C. Is temporarily closed due to a fire that occurred on December 15, 2022. Our office sustained serious internal damage, but the building is salvageable.

We wish to thank the Rushville Fire Department for their professional diligence in containing the fire and saving our building.

We are currently looking for a temporary place to relocate so that we may resume business operations.

We will continue to post information as available.
