Here are some of our patrons' awesome dioramas! Great work everyone!

This Thursday, our craft will be still be creating fossils using air dry clay! Once the clay is dry, the children can paint them!

SUMMER READING PRIZE!

If your children comes into the RPL with a list of 10 books that they have read so far for the month of June, they get a Dino Grabber Prize!

Lists can be recorded on any of the tracker sheets in their Summer Reading bags that the children received when they signed up or by using the Beanstack app for our Summer Reading Challenge 2026!

Supplies are limited! Stay tuned for more reading prizes!

Thank you everyone for coming out to Uncle Tony's Reptile Show last week! The kids did great, and Riley did a wonderful job presenting the animals to the kids and teaching them about their behavior and other cool animal facts!

The next two weeks crafts on Thursdays will be Dino-Egg-Dino's! Dinosaurs made of dino eggs! Stop in and ask staff for setup!

Today is also Daggerheart ttrpg at 3! Stop on in for a fantasy adventure! Beginners welcome!

IT IS HERE! SUMMER READING 2026! The theme this year is "Unearth a Story"! Watch our library get transformed into a prehistoric jungle filled with dinosaurs! 🦕

When your child visits the library and signs up for the Summer Reading program, they will get a goodie bag with some swag (supplies and bags are limited) and different ways to keep track of reading progress! 📖

We also use the Beanstack app to keep track of reading progress and lets them earn bonus prizes based off how many minutes they have been reading! ✅

When they bring books back to the library, the children can pick a prize from our famed TREASURE BOX! 🪙

⚒ We will have two different themed crafts for each month of the summer: June, July, and August. There is no specific time set, just approach staff at the front desk and let them know you would like to do the craft! RSVP FOR CRAFT EVENTS IS HEAVILY ENCOURAGED as we have limited supplies. ⚒The next two crafts for this month are 'DIG IT!" dinosaurs where you can chisel out your own dinosaur! 🛠

🦎And finally, UNCLE TONY'S REPTILES is coming back to the Runnemede Public Library on Thursday June 11 at 5 PM!!! ⚠️🚨THE EVENT IS RSVP ONLY!!!!!⚠️🚨 Uncle Tony staff will do a presentation with live animals and will have cool animal facts and Q&A with the kids and let them touch and hold some of the animals! 🦎

We are maxed out at 25 children for the event and we need to be fair to the animals and not wear them out!
