"AS IS" Sales.

Did you know the standard contract in New Jersey used for real estate sales states a property is being sold "as is"? Essentially, all homes sold are. There may be caveats written in by agents per the clients' wishes and this indicates intention and starting ground. But, it is through attorneys and their review wherein what that means is further determined and spelled out contractually.

Attorneys along with their respective buyers and seller define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities. I've had a few stories relayed to me that agents have received blame or those who sold to cash for homes dealmakers are suprised with matters such as oil tank removals.
