As a mobile notary on a tight busy schedule I know myself like the rest of you are always looking for a back road or a shortcut to get to your next destination as quickly as possible. Just remember that some of your shortcuts may not be the best after it has just rained. Last week my favorite shortcut from Sac to Roseville was flooded and I had no choice but to continue to move forward because there was no where to turn around. There was one car ahead of me that made it through so I figured I could as well. Obviously I made it ok but I learned my lesson. After a heavy rain be very cautious of back roads. Better to stay on the main roads or freeways!!!!
