⚖️ $800,000 JURY VERDICT | MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ
After two weeks of trial and nearly three years of litigation, a Middlesex County jury returned an $800,000 verdict in favor of our client in a personal injury matter.
Our client suffered a bimalleolar ankle fracture requiring surgery involving the placement of a plate and eight screws. Her injuries continue to affect her daily life, and she faces the possibility of additional surgeries in the future.
The case involved contested liability and complex questions of apparent authority, and spoliation of evidence. Ultimately, the jury unanimously found the defendants negligent and returned a verdict in our client’s favor.
This verdict is particularly meaningful to me as it marks my first jury trial in New Jersey. It was a privilege to try this case alongside my colleague Glenn D. Kohles, Jr., Esq. , and I am grateful for the support of our entire team at Sarno da Costa D’Aniello Maceri Webb throughout this litigation.
Most importantly, I am grateful to our client for placing her trust in us and allowing us to advocate on her behalf.
A meaningful result, and a milestone I won’t forget.
