A few weeks ago, we announced Carrot websites designed for home service providers. Well, we have another update to go along with it (that every Carrot user will also love)!
Carrot sites let you set Shortcodes to keep things like your company name, address, and phone number consistent across your entire site without manual updates on every page. And now, you can add short codes for:
- Years in Business – Enter the year your company was founded, and this shortcode keeps every spot where you say something like "Serving you for ZYX years!" updated without effort — it automatically calculates and updates the number each year! This shortcode is great for your homepage, About page, or PPC landing pages.
- License Number – Don't worry about accidentally mistyping your license number or messing up a copy/paste. Enter your professional license number once, then use the shortcode to display it on any page. This is especially useful for contractors, agents, and other licensed professionals. If you operate in multiple states, you can set a different license number on individual Auto Location Pages so the right license always shows for the right market.
- Business Hours – While you may provide 24/7 emergency services, potential clients like to know when they can get ahold of you. Set your business hours for each day so you don't have to type them over and over again. Did your hours of operation change? Fix it once instead of on every page!
