These are the hair care products that the KIND fund purchased for a young teen in CPS care. He never had the proper products. Thanks to D Anderson and Robert Callahan for guiding me. (in comments)

This is what KIND money can be used for, restoring dignity to children in care who have no toiletries, tampons, clothes that fit, and many other needs.

Thank you Donna Castillo and Stephen Castillo for donating two large boxes of gifts for kids in foster care. You are so kind and generous and even paid for the shipping! The teenager you bought gifts for asked for hair scrunchies for Christmas and you went above and beyond. She will be shocked and delighted because she asks for very little. ❤️

Getting Christmas presents ready for kids in foster care. One caregiver asked for diapers for Christmas for the baby she is caring for… that is the state of things for some kids. A common misconception is that foster parents get a lot of money for caring for kids. It can take months to get any financial assistance and kids need things right away. KIND (501c3) fills in the gaps. Look for the KIND find in the drop down box on the DONATE page.

Welcome Makenzie Mays our 2022 summer intern from ! She will be in state and federal courts experiencing family, civil, criminal, probate, and government law. She enjoys solving complex issues and is excited to work in rural areas because of their strong sense of community. Her favorite food is Mac & Cheese and played in the College Softball World Series.
