Prior to practicing law, Mr. Brill spent several years in the United States Army and served in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2002. Brill graduated from Fairmont State University in 2007 and the West Virginia University College of Law in 2010 before marrying his wife in 2011. Brill currently resides in Yellow Spring, West Virginia with his wife and two boys.

From our vantage point (which happens to be just across the street), the Administration Building for the Deaf and Blind School is gone, grass is planted and growing, and the safety fence has been removed. Our friend, Steve Davis at Hampshire Times, recently shared this picture of the Administration Building from the Heatwole Collection, for which our office (the former home of Christian S. White) can be seen in the foreground. Years ago, Dan Oates discovered an entry in the Deaf and Blind School Tablet from November 22, 1880, where it was noted, “Our neighbor Mr. Christian White has had a new porch erected on the front of his residence which is a decided improvement to our neighborhood.” Though a decided improvement to the neighborhood in 1880, the view from the old porch sure has changed.

Miss Amanda Greene has been officially sworn in to the practice of law in the State of West Virginia. And it is with great pleasure to welcome her (officially) to Jonathan G Brill, PLLC. Amanda graduated from the WVU College of Law this year and was sworn in to practice last week.
