🌧️ Another day of rainfall and unseasonably cool temperatures has prompted a further decrease in fire danger across Jackson and Josephine counties. At 10 a.m. on September 3, 2026, the fire danger level on lands protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry Southwest Oregon District will decrease from "high" (yellow) to "moderate" (blue). The Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) will remain at Level 2 (two).
