Barnstormers Baket Winners! Attending local handmade craft events has to be the highlight of my free weekends from racing.

As a home buyer and REALTOR®️, there is no way of noticing every little thing that could have been replaced or repaired with less than stellar work. I’ll also add that even new construction homes aren’t perfect. DIY home projects can increase ROI when selling and even look great if time and care is taken.

Shortcutting any DIY work not only looks sloppy but can hinder good offers on your home once you go to sell.

Interior house color round 2! Four BehrPaint color options just wasn’t enough…. So I’ve added two more samples from a quick trip to The Home Depot in Grants Pass, Oregon.

The last 2 colors are a perfect match for the aesthetic I’m working toward.

I brake for FARM STANDS! Not only do I love supporting my local community but anytime I can get tasty treats without dirtying my kitchen, I’M DOWN!

You can search your local farm stands and even list your farm on the amazing new app, OneStand!

Here’s a bit of info straight from the App Store;

Picking out paint colors doesn’t have to be so tasking these days. Not only does BehrPaint have amazing colors but The Home Depot offers samples with enough paint to test it in any lighting.

The Home Depot offers great tools like the Behr color center where you can see every color in a room by scanning the barcode on the back of the paint swatches! The center also highlights their color of the year which is beautiful shade of green called Hidden Gem. It’s described as a smokey jade with some mood!

I’ve painted my 4 swatches in an area we are most in and that the light hits differently depending on the time of day. What’s your favorite paint color out of my 4 wall swatches?

I love the aesthetic of an open fireplace but it is so inefficient and borderline dangerous.

I’ve had all kinds of heat types in the 7 homes I’ve lived in and a free standing wood stoves takes the cake! When a wood stove is appropriately fitted in a home, it creates a more heat than other options and can save you when the power goes out.

I’m curious… what source of heat do you prefer in your home and why?
