When a home has the right mix of space, updates, location, and price, buyers move quickly… and this one checked all the boxes.

So excited for our sellers and the new buyers stepping into their next chapter in this beautiful home.

Did you know that real estate transactions in Texas are regulated to protect consumers who are buying, selling, or leasing property. Only individuals who hold an active real estate license are legally authorized to assist with these transactions.

In Texas, licensed real estate professionals must complete required education, pass state examinations, undergo background checks, and maintain their license through ongoing continuing education.

Real estate sales agents work on behalf of a licensed broker. Brokers are responsible for supervising all real estate activities conducted by their agents and ensuring compliance with Texas law.

The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) oversees the licensing and regulation of real estate brokers and sales agents, along with inspectors, easement and right of way agents, timeshare interest providers, and real estate education providers.

Consumers may verify the license status of any Texas real estate professional by visiting the TREC website and using the License Holder Search tool.

Texas law also requires that all real estate licensees provide consumers with information regarding brokerage services. This includes details about representation, agency relationships, and how licensees are compensated.

For additional information about brokerage services, representation, and consumer rights, please review the TREC Information About Brokerage Services document below.

If you ever have questions about the real estate process or licensing requirements, I am happy to help explain what this means for you as a buyer or seller.
