Congrats to Curt Covington and Ben Weible for their win last week in a 4-day jury trial in Hunt County. On behalf of the clients, Curt and Ben were able to successfully defend against a lien claim and recover on the clients' counterclaims. They were even able to get a unanimous finding of gross negligence and convince the jury to award punitive damages!

We are very grateful to have clients who trust us to advocate for them through the jury trial process.

A huge congratulations to Ben Weible for becoming board certified in construction law! Ben joins the ranks of only 135 board-certified construction lawyers in the state of Texas. To become board certified, he had to devote a required percentage of his practice to construction law, complete 60 hours of continuing education courses, pass an evaluation by fellow lawyers, and pass a rigorous examination.

We are incredibly proud of him here at LRC and look forward to seeing him use his knowledge to continue to serve our clients.
