I hoped to be added to the trustee-appointed faculty of Southern Baptist Theological Seminany in Louisville after teaching there as a Special Instructor during the 1968-69 academic year. Had that happened, I would have been required to sign the Abstract of Principles that included then and now this section:

V. Election Election is God’s eternal choice of some persons unto everlasting life-not because of foreseen merit in them, but of His mere mercy in Christ-in consequence of which choice they are called, justified and glorified.

Every trustee-appointed faculty member must "swear" to that article of faith. Is it any wonder that so-called "Christian nationalism" is on the rise?

I have family living in South Carolina. Their politics are not known to me, but every one of them, including the ones in high school, have more mother wit and backbone than Lindsey Graham. He almost makes me miss the Dunce of Alabama, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III.

Unlike international from abroad, American citizens do not have to notify USCIS when they move or change their address - UNLESS the citizen has agreed to support an international seeking status as a permanent US resident. From the Instructions to Form I-864 Affidavit of Support:

If you have changed your address, you must inform USCIS of your new address within 30 days of the change. To do this, you must complete and file Form I-865, Sponsor’s Change of Address. For information on filing a change of address go to the USCIS Web site at www.uscis.gov/addresschange or contact the USCIS
National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. For TTY (deaf or hard of hearing) call: 1-800-767-1833. For information on
