Edidin (former General Counsel to The Hertz Corporation) and Michael LaPlaca (former National Sales Manager, The Hertz Corporation). Propelled by a wealth of expertise in the vehicle rental business, Mr. LaPlaca and his then partner, Mr. Edidin, built the firm from the ground up. Though, sadly, both Mr. Edidin and Mr. LaPlaca have passed away, they left behind a legacy of excellence and dedicated service that has been carried forward to this day. In 2008, Firm Principal, Leslie Pujo, joined forces with Michael LaPlaca, bringing with her more than a decade of franchise and contract law experience. Before joining LaPlaca Pujo, Ms. Pujo served as in-house franchise and contract law counsel to a major hotel franchising company, and before that, she was an associate attorney in the franchise practice group of a large firm in Washington, D.C. Mentored by Mr. LaPlaca, Ms. Pujo further broadened her legal knowledge and developed a passion for the vehicle rental industry. Today, Ms. Pujo leads a team of talented attorneys and staff, all of whom are committed to the Firm’s tradition of industry expertise and service to clients.
