Meet our new Paralegal!
Evines Tomei is the newest member of the team at Verma Cortes LLC. Originally from Lajas, Puerto Rico, Evines earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez.
In 2002, she relocated to the United States to support her husband’s military career, a journey that took her across several states, including Texas, South Carolina, and Maryland. She also spent five years living abroad in Germany, an experience that enriched her personally and professionally.
Before joining Verma Cortes LLC, Evines served as an AmeriCorps member supporting CASA, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping immigrant communities. During her time there, she worked in the citizenship department, guiding individuals through their naturalization process, and provided support during tax season by helping families file their tax returns.
Evines brings a strong dedication to community service, along with a diverse background and valuable cross-cultural experience.
