Romaine, Esquire was admitted to the Florida Bar in April 2003 and has been a solo practitioner in Central Brevard County since May 2005. Thomas University School of Law in December 2002 and a Bachelor of Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in June 2000. Prior to entering law school, Amy served in the United States Air Force from 1997 - 2000 as a jet engine mechanic. She currently se
rves as Social Director for the Vassar B. Carlton American Inn of Court and is a member of both the Florida Bar Association and the Brevard County Bar Association. Nugent, Esquire focuses primarily on transactional business law and landlord tenant law. She also handles matters involving civil litigation, mediation, international law, and basic estate planning. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and Oregon and is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Mediator. Laurel graduated from Vermont Law School where she participated in a dual degree program with the University of Cergy-Pontoise in France where she earned two master's degrees in business law, focusing primarily on in-house counsel services. While in Paris, she worked with the law firm DJP Avocats where she assisted with the international tax consequences of a $700 million international merger, and wrote her thesis on international R&D tax credit. Outside her practice, Laurel works with WeVenture and the Women’s Business Center as a mentor and guest speaker for new and second stage businesses.
