🏠 **She Paid $610,000 for Her Dream Home… Then Discovered Its Dark Secret.**
In 2007, Janet Milliken purchased a home at 12 Pickering Trail in Thornton, Pennsylvania, for $610,000.
She thought she was buying a place to call home. What she didn't know was that just 18 months earlier, a husband had killed his wife and then taken his own life inside the property.
According to the story, the sellers and their real estate agents knew about the tragedy. But nobody told Janet.
She didn't discover the home's disturbing history until AFTER she moved in, when a neighbor revealed what had happened.

Understandably, Janet wanted out.
But there was another problem. Evidence suggested the home's history could have reduced its market value by an estimated $61,000 to $91,500. Walking away could mean taking a massive financial loss.
So she took the matter to court, arguing that the sellers and their listing agents had knowingly withheld information that could have affected her decision to buy the property.
The case eventually reached the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which ruled in 2014 that the sellers were not legally required to disclose the murder-suicide.
