This community hero is active duty in the Army and is being relocated to Rochester for work. With a very short timeline and a very tough market, we all knew it would be battle but we made it happen! After seeing only 2 homes and putting in one offer, he was secured a beautiful home with many updates and close to work! CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR VA BUYER!
He came to us through a referral. He had just moved to the area and was looking to get out of the temporary house he was staying in. His criteria were a little tricky in this market. He needed a house with minimal repairs, cosmetic updates, limited neighbors, some land, financing through a VA loan, and all closing costs covered.
Well, after only 2 sets of showings and 2 weeks of searching, we found the one! With another offer competing, we went to work on negotiations and secured everything he wanted—including all his closing costs covered! He actually made money back, and the VA appraisal came in above value!
We're so excited for this client and his new chapter as he starts his retirement. Congratulations!
