For example, only 5% of pedestrians die when struck by a vehicle traveling at 20mph or slower, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Nearly 100% die when hit by a car moving 50mph or faster. Think About It. https://tinyurl.com/yye4e4zp

City officials are looking to host a public meeting on speed limits before any final decision is made.
