Laura Moore may be the absolute best person I know. She is FOR SURE the best legal assistant and friend. I cannot imagine going through this rollercoaster of life without her. TEN YEARS of blood, sweat, fun, tears, more fun, not so much fun...and a job well done. What we do each day is NOT easy but it can be rewarding. Our clients know they can count on Laura to help navigate the hardest times in their lives and I know I can count on her to stab someone in the eye for me...ok that is a stretch...Laura is not a violent person so ..I can count on her to keep quiet when I stab someone in the eye :) CHEERS to the best of the best and overall GOOD HUMAN and resident saint at KMJ LAW! I look forward to the next ten with you.

Keeping this secret was a tough one but now we can shout it. Other than his family I doubt there is anyone prouder of Luke Farmer than me. I have known him since he was in high school and have watched him become a fabulous and honorable lawyer. Now I get a front row seat to his Judgeship! While he will be missed in our office, I have no doubt Luke will serve the 5th Circuit well!!!!

Almost TEN years in the trenches and she is still my right hand, the one that keeps us ALL going, makes sure the office and our clients have what is needed but more importantly is a friend to every single one of us. July 3rd was SWEET 16 for The Law Firm of Kesa M. Johnston. Hands down the BEST thing have ever done is opening my first office. I am a proud of all the positive things that have been accomplished at KMJ Law. Every single minute of hard work has been worth it. I get to share my days with the most amazing people who are committed to the same level of professionalism. I never could make it all come together without Laura Davis Moore, Mary McHone Brown, Danielle Chisolm and Luke Farmer.

We have served thousands of clients and have fought the good fight under the worst of circumstances again and again. There have been those days when I considered throwing in the towel and opening up a rare plant or record store but then that one client comes in who needs us, really needs a team to fight for them, and I know we can help ...and then I remember why it is all worth the blood, sweat and tears!

Come out and help us celebrate at the open house of our second location on Thursday, July 24th 4-8:30 pm. There will be appetizers, cold beverages, chance at a gift basket full of local art, food, gift certificates and other goodies (valued now at $1200) ..........AND porch pickin' and grinnin' with one of my fave bands, Sweet Grass Sally. Pop in to say hi and sign up for the gift basket or bring your lawn chair, stay and enjoy the tunes. Hope to see all our friends and family there!
