🚨 IMPORTANT NEWS FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS!
FINCEN PERMANENTLY ENDS BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR MILLIONS OF U.S. BUSINESSES
Good news for small business owners! 🇺🇸
The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has removed the federal Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting requirement for entities created in the United States and their beneficial owners.
This means that U.S.-created LLCs, corporations, and other domestic entities are currently exempt from reporting BOI to FinCEN under the Corporate Transparency Act.
✅ No BOI report required for U.S.-created companies
✅ U.S. beneficial owners are exempt
✅ No need to report changes to BOI for domestic companies under the revised rule
⚠️ Foreign entities registered to do business in the United States may still have BOI reporting obligations.
If you previously received notices, advertisements, or solicitations telling you that you MUST file a BOI report, don’t automatically pay someone to file it. Check the current FinCEN rules first.
📌 Important: BOI requirements have changed, so make sure you are relying on current official information—not outdated 2024 instructions.
