An Update on the Dorman Road Development & What’s Next
We want to send a massive THANK YOU to our incredible community. We are absolutely blown away by how everyone has continued to show up, stand up, and come together.
At tonights Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting, despite a completely packed crowd and over 40 passionate speakers sharing their voices, the BOCC ultimately approved the transmittal to the state for the Dorman Road development.
While this wasn't the outcome we hoped for today, now is not the time to get discouraged. Let's take a moment to digest this information, stay focused, and look forward.
This is far from over. Mark your calendars: We will be back Downtown on Monday, June 22nd, for the next crucial zoning meeting regarding the Dorman road Development and Tevalo Hills and Neighborhood Alliance, Inc. . We need that same powerful community presence there with us.
In the meantime, let's keep taking care of the community we love. We are hosting a community trash cleanup this Saturday in partnership with the PlantCity Trash Bash to help improve Keysville/Lithia. We hope to see many of you there!
