A Message from the President
Happy New Year RBOR!
As your 2020 President I would like to wish you a prosperous year in Real Estate. Interest rates are still at an all-time low and there is great value in Ridgefield and surrounding towns.
As REALTORS® our mission is not only to help our clients buy and sell properties, but, also to preserve, protect and advance the right to real property for all. NAR, CTR and RBOR are your trusted allies, guiding our members and those they serve through the ever-evolving real estate landscape.
One of the many ways we do this is through continuing education and 2020 is a mandatory CE year. We are offering many classes to help you meet the State of CT CE requirements, including a FREE Ethics class and a new Social Media Marketing class. Look for the RBOR weekly enewsletter for sign up information.
I look forward to meeting more of our members and serving our Board in the coming year. Please feel free to contact me with ideas, questions, etc. to help make us all as successful as we can be.

Cheers to 2020!

Toni Riordan, 2019 RBOR President, left and Mary Pat Sexton, RBOR Past President, right spent last Monday afternoon at the CT Coalition to End Homelessness office in Hartford wrapping Paddington Bears, Books & Blankies that will be delivered this week to children living in shelters across CT for the holidays For some, this may be the only gift they receive!
For the past 4 years REALTORS have partnered with the CT Coalition to End Homelessness in the Annual Be Homeful for the Holidays Campaign to Prevent CT Families from becoming homeless. The funds raised through this campaign are used to help prevent CT families from becoming homeless by providing emergency assistance to keep them in their homes.
For every $25 tax-deductible donation, the campaign is also able to provide a Paddington bear, book or blankie to a child living in a shelter for the holidays

Ridgefield REALTORS® “Ring the Bell” to Help Our Neighbors in Need

This past weekend, Ridgefield REALTORS® “Rang the Bell” for the Salvation Army at numerous locations throughout town and collected over $1400 to help our Ridgefield neighbors in need. Ninety percent (90%) of all funds collected goes directly to Ridgefield Social Services. Thanks to everyone who heard the Bell and donated. A special thank you to REALTOR® Jefferson Guthrie who annually gives his time to make this outreach a success!

Toni Riordan, 2019 President of the Ridgefield Board of REALTORS(RBOR) Honored for her Service.

Incoming 2020 RBOR President Lynne Boehm saluted Toni Riordan, 2019 RBOR President, for her commitment and dedication to the Association last night at the RBOR Board Appreciation Dinner.
The dinner, hosted by Toni and Phillip Riordan at their home in Ridgefield is given annually to thank the RBOR Officers and Directors for their time and service to their fellow REALTORS, the industry and the community. Also honored was Barbara Assiff who has served as Director and Membership Chair for the past three years.
