MHP is thrilled to announce that Ryan Glaser is joining our Board of Directors. Ryan is originally from Hampton Roads but traveled to South Carolina to receive his undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston. After completing his undergraduate education, Ryan earned his Juris Doctor degree from Elon University School of Law in North Carolina. Following law school, Ryan returned to Virginia to be close to family, and now Ryan is an estate planning and administration attorney at James River Law here in Richmond Virginia. As a part of Ryan’s practice, he routinely assists families with planning for their disabled loved one’s futures. Ryan is no stranger to community service and enjoys volunteering as a mentor to middle school students in the Richmond Public Schools System during the school year through an organization called Higher Achievement. Ryan looks forward to being able to further his impact by working with MHP to achieve our mission. Ryan is particularly passionate about the work and services MHP provides because Ryan himself was born with Cerebral Palsy from the waist down and grew up in a medical home. With his legal background and expertise coupled with his personal experiences growing up with a disability, Ryan hopes to expand MHP’s outreach and programming to further MHP’s mission. When not working or volunteering, Ryan enjoys spending time with his partner, Alec Ball, and their two dogs, Weezy and Angelo, at their home in Richmond’s Museum District.

The Norcross Police Department released video of officers arresting Atlanta Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna for DUI. In the video, Ozuna can be heard telling the officer "sorry, sorry, I'm Ozuna from the Braves."
