now. In 2018 she was featured on HGTV’s House Hunters “Home for the Holidays”, a fun experience that a client entered unbeknownst to her. Rebecca grew up in an Air Force family and had the incredible fortune of spending her formative years in Liberia, Africa. As a child, and an adult, she has lived in too many cities to count, and has traveled extensively. This has made her incredibly adaptable, and open to all sorts of cultures, ideas, and ways of being. She loves meeting new people and brings a sense of empathy and intuition to the whole moving process. As her motto declares, she has a strong desire for people to have a sense of belonging. Rebecca has considered Richmond VA home from the moment she started VCU, and for 25+ years has always ended up back here. She has lived in many of its neighborhoods including the upper and lower fan, Oregon Hill, Jackson Ward, Carver, Woodland Heights, Westhampton, Stratford Hills, and Lakeside. She loves the architecture in Richmond, and how down to earth, yet sophisticated we are. Before being a real estate agent Rebecca was a career photojournalist and artist with a BFA from the University of New Mexico. One of her main gigs was as the Society Beat photographer for The Washington Post shooting three weekly columns: “Out and About”, “Life is Short”, and “The Scene”. Rebecca also spent three years teaching middle school Reading and Creative Writing. Being a real estate agent is the perfect marriage of skill sets these careers required. She has spent a lifetime being of service and volunteering for numerous organizations. Dog Rescue is one of her passions and she and her dog, Lakota, volunteer Pet Therapy at the Senior Living Centers. She is also passionate about Affordable Housing, and the environment.
