The end of an era, and the beginning of something new! ❤️
After seven incredible years, Red Quill Law officially closed its doors on September 30, 2026.
When I started Red Quill, I had a vision for a different kind of law firm. One where people felt comfortable asking questions, where legal advice actually made sense, and where we could build real relationships with the people and businesses we served.
And wow, what a journey it's been.
We've helped businesses get off the ground, supported entrepreneurs through some of their biggest decisions, advocated for clients when things got tough, and had the privilege of working with so many incredible people along the way.
I'm so proud of what we built, and even more grateful for the people who helped build it.
A special shoutout to Shelby and Mallory, who have been such an important part of Red Quill's story, along with everyone else who has been part of our team over the years. We've learned a lot, laughed a lot, navigated plenty of challenges, and made some wonderful memories along the way.
So, what's next?
As of October 1, I've joined Byrne Canaan Law! I'll continue doing the work I love: supporting healthcare and wellness professionals, entrepreneurs, and the folks building and improving our healthcare systems (yes, that includes you, health tech friends 😊).
And the best part? I'm not going alone!
Shelby is continuing to work alongside me (please keep her in your thoughts and prayers 😂), and Mallory has joined Byrne Canaan's litigation team, where she'll have the opportunity to continue growing into the fantastic litigator I know she'll be.
While it's bittersweet to say goodbye to Red Quill, I'm genuinely excited for this next chapter and all the opportunities it brings.
To every client who trusted us, every colleague who sent someone our way, every friend who cheered us on, and everyone who believed in what we were building: THANK YOU. You've made these seven years something I'll always be proud of.
