Is the street quiet at 2 PM but lined with parked cars at 8 PM? Are the streetlights adequate? Is there enough parking, no matter what time of day? II WE ARE T.CARNEY II Meet Steven – our Executive Assistant!

Steven's path to our team is anything but ordinary. He studied French and Theatre in Cannes, France, taught English in Kyoto, Japan, and spent over a decade in interpreting services at Gallaudet University, the world's leading institution for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing. He's fluent in French, Japanese, and American Sign Language, and has a genuine passion for people and communication that shows in everything he does.

Before joining us full-time, Steven spent nine years with the City of Rehoboth Beach, where he worked directly with our team on property transfers and tax billing. Safe to say, he hit the ground running.

Outside the office, Steven is a fixture on the local theatre scene, having performed in over 25 productions across Kent and Sussex Counties. When he's not on stage, you'll find him at the beach with his dog. Steven keeps the office running smoothly and we are so happy to have him on our team!

HOW TO AVOID PROBLEMS AT CLOSING II Avoid the Day-Of Wire Scramble!

One of the easiest ways to delay your closing? Waiting until the last minute to send your funds.

Once you receive your Closing Disclosure (about 3 days prior), you will know your estimated cash to close. We strongly recommend initiating your wire transfer at least one day prior to settlement.

Technology isn't perfect. Wire issues can (and DO!) occur. Sending your funds early gives professionals time to prepare and allows a buffer to fix any banking snags without delaying your keys! 🔑
