We are inviting Native S*xual Assault and Domestic Violence Advocates, their programs, and tribal communities and coalitions to join us for “Beyond the Basics: eLearning Mini-TA Session 1.0” Advocates for domestic violence survivors in Indian country and urban Native communities often assist with healing, safety-planning, accessing services, navigating systems, and comprehensive victim assistance. How are these services different when s*xual violence or trafficking is co-occurring (or multi-occurring) methods of domestic violence? How does s*xual assault and s*x trafficking show up in intimate partner and family domestic violence?
Native Survivors experiencing s*xual assault and/or trafficking from their intimate or family relationships are often the most vulnerable with complex needs for services, interventions, and long-term advocacy to prevent life-long consequences spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Please join us as we talk about how to bridge the gap and identify, problem-solve, and follow-up with these unique Survivors of s*xual and trafficking violence.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
