Purple paint law = defiant trespass.

HARRISBURG, PA - Landowners who post their properties now have the option of using purple paint rather than signs to alert others that lands are private and trespassing isn’t permitted.

This position involves assisting those clients with the probate process, inheritance tax returns, and all related estate administration areas. You will also be handling real estate matters that arise in estates and other areas.

Compassionate and caring in-person, phone and written communication skills are necessary. The position also requires a detail-oriented, organized, and efficient individual. Experience is preferred, but not essential.

Microsoft Office proficiency is needed. Lackner 6-in-1 software experience will be helpful.

Warning: Scam Calls Targeting Recipients of Property Tax & Rent Rebates

The PA Department of Revenue today issued a warning to Pennsylvanians to be cautious of a scam targeting seniors and people with disabilities who receive rebates through the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program.

The department has received information this week that the scam consists of unsolicited telephone calls from a person claiming to work for the Department of Revenue. The caller starts the call by saying the recipient’s application for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program has been approved. The caller then asks if the recipient would like the rebate directly deposited into a bank account. That’s followed by a request for the recipient’s banking information.

Always be alert for scammers!
