The places we return to often become part of what makes a city feel like home.
San Diego’s Italian restaurant scene is a wonderful example. What was once a smaller collection of familiar favorites has grown into a much broader celebration of Italian regional cuisine.
Today, you can find everything from Sicilian and Neapolitan influences to fresh seafood, handmade pasta, classic Italian American dishes, and thoughtful new interpretations.
For me, these discoveries are part of the pleasure of living and working in San Diego. The restaurants, neighborhoods, and small rituals of everyday life all contribute to our sense of place.
Curious where I’d put on the list? Read the full newsletter through the link in my bio.
