Here's the thing about overthinking: most of us are already experts at it. We can build entire worst-case scenarios in our heads, complete with details, dialogue, and a dramatic ending. We rehearse the rejection. We expect the failure. We call it "being realistic."
Maybe we do it because we think if we don't get our hopes up, it won't hurt as much if things don't go as planned. But all that really does is rob us of the chance to feel excited about what could go right.
What if you spent just as much time imagining the best-case scenario?
