❓ Can you tell me if an unfinished walk up attic adds any value to a property?
✔️ Yes. Lowest contribution is given to an attic that's just storage and can't be finished. More value is given to attics that are pre-wired and pre-plumbed. Within the same considerations, a lower adjustment is made in the lower market value & lower quality and higher adjustments in higher quality & higher price points.
Also, if the subject is on the smaller side in main living area for the neighborhood and other homes have finished attics, this is a good way for the subject owner to create more finished area at a lower $/sq ft
