Proverb of the Day Proverbs 7:3 Just a little of God’s Word can change a lot.
Title: Maintaining Greatness
“Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 7:3 NIV

Reflection and explanation
This proverb teaches that wisdom must be intentionally kept close. When Solomon says to bind wisdom on your fingers, he is describing a reminder that stays in sight and is not easily forgotten. In other words, God’s truth should be something we keep before us every day.
Writing wisdom on the tablet of the heart means more than just hearing God’s Word. It means letting it become part of who we are. Real greatness is not accidental. It is built through daily obedience, steady discipline, and a heart that stays open to God’s instruction.
This verse reminds us that even when we are tired, distracted, or under pressure, God’s Word can bring us back to the right path. Greatness is maintained when wisdom is remembered, practiced, and treasured.

What reminders do I need in my life to help me stay focused on God’s path and maintain the greatness He is calling me to?
