Latest addition with the retirement of our last Crown Vic.

Last night while a Metro supervisor was on patrol he observed a fire in the area of Mcmynn Tower apartments at 110 7th Street. The supervisor notified dispatch of the fire and immediately attempted to extinguish it. Once initial police units arrived on scene the supervisor and an additional Metro Officer assisted with evacuating residents from the area affected by the fire. Supervisor and Officer remained on scene and assisted residents until they were allowed to re enter their apartments. These are some of the selfless actions supervisors and employees take everyday for their community.
