QPD NEWS RELEASE:
On Monday, May 9th, 2016, members of the Quincy Emergency Response Team (ERT), Quincy Street Crimes Unit, the West Central Illinois Task Force (WCITF), and the Adams County Sheriff's Office executed a Search Warrant at 730 1/2 N. 5th Street, the residence of Melinda C. Raymond. Once inside, the officers located suspected methamphetamine packaged for sale and numerous fi****ms in the residence as well. The officers seized eight (8) fi****ms from the residence which are described as follows: A Walther P380 .380 pistol; A Palmetto State Armory .223 rifle; A Rock Island Armory .45 pistol; A Kahr .45 pistol (This pistol was found to have been stolen during a prior burglary in Quincy); A G***k 17 9mm pistol; A C**t .357 revolver; A Mossberg .22LR rifle; and A Sundance .25 pistol. All but one of the recovered fi****ms were loaded, and officers seized multiple rounds of ammunition as well during the search of the residence.
Stephen J. A. Mosley of 1405 N. 6th was charged with Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine Less than 5 Grams, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Gang Member, Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon. Mosley was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
Melinda C. Raymond of 730 1/2 N. 5th was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Less Than 5 Grams and Possession of a Weapon with No Valid FOID Card, and was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
Schanique D. Ellis of 2225 N. 12th #711 was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Less Than 5 Grams and Possession of a Weapon with No Valid FOID Card, and was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
Brooke N. Osborne of 630 Adams was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Less Than 5 Grams and Possession of a Weapon with No Valid FOID Card, and was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
