What a wonderful morning! ☀️💙 A huge thank-you to TAPCO Credit Union in Frederickson for hosting our Rotary Club meeting in their beautiful new space. We had a packed house...and the room was buzzing with great energy, big ideas, and a shared passion for serving our community! 🎉🙌

🌸🌼 The other day we spent the afternoon exploring the beautiful Point Defiance Gardens, and WOW... everything was in full bloom! 😍🌺 Just look at these gorgeous dahlias! 🌸✨

After soaking in all the colorful flowers, we found a peaceful spot to slow down and do a little nature journaling. 📖🍃 Sometimes the best days are the simple ones...fresh air, beautiful blooms, and making memories together. 💕☀️

🌎✨ This past Wednesday, our Rotary crew rolled up our sleeves and hit the roadside for a community clean-up—and WOW, what a difference a few hours can make! 💪🧤🗑️

April is Environmental Month, and it’s the perfect reminder that small actions = BIG impact. Every piece of trash picked up helps protect our wildlife 🐦, keeps our neighborhoods beautiful 🌷, and shows pride in the place we call home.

It’s amazing how something as simple as a roadside clean-up can spark conversations, inspire others, and create a ripple effect of care and responsibility throughout our community 💚

☕ When there's a 5th Wednesday... you know where to find us!

Months with five Wednesdays mean it's time to shake things up! Instead of our usual meeting location, the Rotary Club of Graham-Frederickson-Eatonville gathers at Bruno's in Eatonville...and today's breakfast meeting was another great one!

A big thank you to our guest speaker, Jeanette Dorner, Executive Director of the Nisqually Land Trust, for sharing the incredible work her organization is doing to protect the Nisqually River Watershed. We learned how the Land Trust has permanently protected more than 10,000 acres of vital salmon habitat, preserves land for clean water, wildlife, and future generations, and works closely with community partners to restore our local ecosystems. One of the most fascinating stories Jeanette shared was about the rediscovery of the Nisqually Coho salmon, once believed to be extinct! After years of restoration work, this remarkable fish has made an inspiring return—a powerful reminder that conservation truly makes a difference.

We also heard community updates: 🔥 Central Pierce Fire & Rescue reported a relatively calm Fourth of July thanks to strong emergency preparedness and is asking for community input as they shape their future identity through a public survey ( https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CentralPierceFire ). 🏫 Eatonville School District shared updates on the new stadium project.
