Many saw the for sale sign for months and worried it would close, but the owners, also of Solar Roast, promised they’d keep it open even if it didn’t sell. But it did.

The 57-year-old walk up and drive up place is a locals favorite for a classic ice cream experience, located next to the skate park. It offers soft serve ice cream, including dipped cones and shakes, and a variety of unique treats like the Pikes Peak Shake.
