I have practiced law since 1981 when graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law. My undergraduate degree was in Political Science from the Colorado College in 1977. I am 5th generation born in Colorado on the Pacheco side of my family. I was born and raised in Pueblo and attended St. Leander's Catholic school from first to 8th grade. Then attended Seton High School for 9th grade and t

hen went to Centennial High School and graduated from there in 1977 out of the old building. (If you are from Pueblo, you will know what this means.)

So lots has changed. The Colorado legislature passed new exemptions that make it better for more people to be able to file for and to get a bankruptcy!
Some of the changes are:
1) you now can have equity of $250,000 in the home I’m which you reside;
2) )12,500 in a vehicle if 1 person or $25,000 if a couple
These are just 2 examples. Many more to discuss in a first FREE consultation. Can be done by phone to fit into your schedule.
