"I started reading the book in the morning, wanting a good fictional distraction during COVID confinement, and having a whole weekend to myself I decided a good book written by an old friend would be just the thing. And boy, was it a dead ringer for just the addictive thing to keep me coming back, till I finally made it to the last page late into that next night. The story of the young woman getting out of the little cocoon she grew up in, leaving the family that had raised her and the father she had lost but still had the deep connection with and the paint brush to take with her, to take an adventure for her own learning that then took quite the turn as she met a charming soldier, who would then be with her as the world was split into a dichotomous-dimensional like experience that would be quite the “first” to experience in any new relationship...
Only pick this book up to read if you want something so delightful it will open your want for another taste, adventure so unbound it will take google to search ancient terms that will get you lost in an ancient and sacred plane of lost stories coming to life again, and so satisfying that even when you get what you want for the main characters, as the author gives the path for the next book... well you’ll be waiting with a smile and sweet hunger for the next book to come into making and distribution, then plan to take a whole weekend to enjoy that one when it’s in your wanting hands.
