I am happy to write that today I'm celebrating being on my own for 10 years. A lot has changed over that time. I started with an 400 square foot office with a folding table as my conference table. Now, I have a 3,000 sqft main office with satellite offices in Wyomissing and Allentown. I have two great partners, David and Al, and a great staff, Jen and Carmen. I really appreciate all the support my Wife has given me over the years. It's still amazing to me that she said "Sure" when I approached her with my desire to go out on my own even though i had no clients to my name and we had two little kids, 4 and 6.
So, thanks everyone for all your support over the years.

We made a lot of improvements over the past two weeks and more are still to come. This week, we upgraded the phone system. I hope that this will make me more available. Now, I can take/place calls while I'm away from the office using my cell phone but it will appear that I'm still at my desk. I tried it out today. It works nicely.

I did not pick an “easy” profession. Many refer to the Law as a “jealous mistress,” demanding every bit of my time and taking me away from my family every chance it can. But, this week was great. In appreciation for my work, one client dropped off a bottle of Select Reserve Jameson Irish Whisky, another dropped off Grey Goose Vodka and a third dropped off three bins of dates. So, work is difficult; agreed. But, this weekend will be great. Life is good. Work hard.

I had a nice treat today. A client took me to lunch at a fantastic Indian restaurant in Collegeville. The food was awesome. I'm full. It's really my clients that keep me enjoying my job. Life is good.

I just got a favorable opinion from the Superior Court reversing the lower court's decision. That's cool. I knew i was right. :)

Here a link to a decision that we won on appeal. Our client, represented by another law firm at the lower court, lost in the mother's request to relocate with the Children to New York. We were successful at the Superior Court and had the case remanded.
