What a day! They say "timing is everything" While out on a girls night out in June, the girls and I decided to go to The Scenic Lounge, one of my favorite spots. I happened to sit next to David at the bar and I can't remember who said hi first, but at this point it doesn't matter! We chit chatted and I,as a self proclaimed believer that I never meet a stranger, 🤷🏾♀️ said to David, the next time you're out text me and I'll join you! (I will invite myself somewhere in a minute 🤣)Well that turned into 2 invites and the third invite was our first official "talking business" meeting and I FINALLY got to meet his husband Nate! 😃
July 21st paperwork was signed and the search was on!
Two properties they liked went under contract before we could see them, sometimes that happens 😏, but we kept it moving! 5 different showings and 8 days later their offer was accepted and we were under contract!!📝
Let's rewind for a minute..... As a Realtor, one of the many responsibilities is to listen to my clients and I ALWAYS listen to my clients, but this time I didn't. 😬
We had seen a property in the same town as where they bought, and that particular property was farther in town, which would have brought their work commute a little longer than they had wanted. We had a showing the next day in that same town but with work schedule, I rescheduled for the next day after that. At one point David called me and said, you can cancel that other one, the commute will be too far. Of course, I said I would cancel, but that night, I kept looking at it and reading the disclosures etc.
The next morning I texted David and said, "I didnt cancel the other showing. Why dont we just go look at it. It's already scheduled and you never know! I am sooooo happy I didnt listen because it ended up being the ONE! 😃🤭

Sometimes transactions can take months and months for some reason or another and when you have the right group of people or the "right team" things run smoothly!
