I graduated from Ohio State University with a B.S. in Business Administration in 1979. I then went on to Ohio Northern University for my law degree. I graduated from Ohio Northern in 1983, and was then admitted to the Ohio Bar. In 1984 I was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio. I am a member of the Ohio State Bar and the Portsmouth Bar Association. I am married with two
adult daughters, a son-in-law, and one granddaughter so far. (Pictures of the granddaughter will happily be shown upon request, or even if not requested).
