Christian spent the last 5 years serving as the primary Domestic Violence Prosecutor for the Strafford County Attorneys Office, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in both Domestic Violence law and general criminal litigation.

We’d like to congratulate client Chris on his recent legal victory to gain custody of his daughter Lillian!

Chris, a Florida resident, came to us in July of 2021 with an astounding story; a guardianship had been granted over his daughter Lillian without his knowledge when the guardian had fraudulently listed father “unknown” on a guardianship petition. As Chris was living out of state, and not listed on the child’s birth certificate his first notice of the guardianship was when the guardian sought child support.

After nearly 2 years, countless hearings, and a trip to the New Hampshire Supreme Court, the trial court made the decision to terminate the guardianship and grant Chris custody of Lillian.

Chris shared this photo with us after Lilly had arrived safely to start her new life with her family in Florida!

It’s stories like this that make it all worth it!

The winners of the 2022 10 To Watch contest for young professionals will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth.
