It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the New Hampshire State Police announces the passing of retired K-9 Grunt.
K-9 Grunt was a 13-year-old Belgian Malinois assigned to Sergeant Gary Ingham. K-9 Grunt Retired in 2021after faithfully serving the citizens of New Hampshire since 2012. K-9 Grunt was a patrol/narcotics canine and also assigned to NH State Police SWAT Unit for tactical deployments. Sergeant Ingham and K-9 Grunt are responsible for numerous criminal arrests and the safeguarding of countless citizens during their time of service. Please keep Sergeant Ingham and his family in your thoughts. Rest easy K-9 Grunt, thank you for a job well done. You will surely be missed. E.O.W 6/14/24.
