This morning, I and other members of the OCDLA Legislative Committee, met with Josephine County Rep. Wally Hicks (R). It's nice to know that even people on the other side of the aisle can be allies in the fight for fair justice. We discussed a bill that I believe in very strongly, OCDLA's eyewitness identification bill. When so many wrongful convictions are based on bad identifications, this bill's importance cannot be over-emphasized. It feels like at times, Justice has a fighting chance.
