For buyers, the next steps may include inspections, finalizing financing, an appraisal, reviewing documents, and completing a final walkthrough. For sellers, it often means responding to inspection requests, preparing for the appraisal, completing agreed-upon items, and getting the home ready for closing.🤝

Knowing what comes next can make the stretch from accepted offer to closing day much smoother. ⛵

💰 The monthly mortgage payment can include more than just principal and interest. Depending on the loan and property, it may also include property taxes, homeowners insurance, mortgage insurance, and other costs.
