"What these programs show is when you get rid of the root of the problem, we’re restoring these individuals to productive individuals,” Yedinak said."

The state's only circuitwide problem-solving court, formed in 2018, serves veterans charged with non-violent crimes in McLean, Ford, Livingston, Logan and Woodford counties. The program's graduation rate hovers near 90%.

Calling all petition circulators!!
We will begin collecting petitions on or about November 10. All petitions will need to be notarized when you sign them prior to turning them in. You can find notary service at any bank. Or, the Fellheimer law firm (210 N Main St, Pontiac) has graciously agreed to notarize and collect any petitions as well. Of course, Randy is also happy to come to you to collect them. Just let us know in private message or text how you wish to turn them in and we will make arrangements.
Thank you so very much for your participation and contribution. We have had a lot of volunteers, and it means the world to Randy to have so much support.

Dear Friends and Family:
Randy has enjoyed his work the last couple years as Associate Circuit Judge of the Eleventh Circuit here in Livingston County. However, the time has come for him to take the next step. Randy has decided to run for the position of Resident Circuit Judge in the upcoming March 2026 primary election. The position is vacated due to Livingston County Resident Circuit Judge Jennifer Bauknecht's upcoming retirement.
WE NEED YOUR HELP! In order to secure his place on the ballot, Randy needs at least 500 signatures of registered Livingston County voters on his petition. We are asking people to help to get signatures on his behalf. The job is simple - get as many registered voter signatures as you can.
If you are able to help, we will get you the necessary form with instructions. It is easy to do, especially for those of us who like to keep busy and find ourselves in social settings. Many hands make light work!
We will also be helping Associate Circuit Judge Sarah Duffy as she runs for election as Circuit Judge at Large within the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Don't worry - she and Randy are not running against each other! They are running for separate vacancies occurring due to the retirements of current judges. Randy will be running for election in Livingston County while Judge Duffy will be running in all 5 counties of the circuit.
We will be collecting signatures on 2 separate petitions - one for Randy and one for Sarah. Both need 500 signatures, so please let us know if you can help either by commenting, sending a private message, or by personally reaching out. Thanks, everyone!

Investing in early learning "is common sense. But it's not actually reflected in common practice," Livingston County State's Attorney Randy Yedinak testified in an Illinois House virtual hearing Tuesday. We appreciate his help in conveying Fight Crime: Invest in Kids' support for a $54.4 million increase in preK and birth-to-3 funding — something SA Yedinak noted could help strengthen public safety, adding, "I'm not a betting man. But if I was, I'd go all-in on early childhood development."

Thank you, House Republican Leader Jim Durkin, for discussing the importance of early childhood programs with Livingston County State's Attorney Randy Yedinak, Kendall County State's Attorney Eric Weis, and DuPage County State's Bob Berlin today. As State's Attorney Weis shared, programs like child care not only can place young kids on a trajectory for success, they also bring "an economic benefit to businesses, to government, and to individuals."

Thank you State Representative Suzanne Ness, for today's meeting with Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser, Livingston County State's Attorney Randy Yedinak, and West Dundee Police Chief Tony Gorski. We appreciate your support for the continuum of investments in children and families that are proven to help reduce crime, and look forward to working with you.
